Transportation

To reach Ven Island, the most convenient method is to take the ferry from Landskrona Skeppsbron. The journey duration and route may vary depending on your starting point, potentially involving a two-part or three-part trip.

Getting to Landskrona Skeppsbron

Plan your transportation to Ven Island by checking Skånetrafiken for public transport options.

A recommendation for you coming from Lund is to take the 08:57am train to Landskrona station, then a connecting bus to Landskrona Skeppsbron (estimated arrival time: 09:39am).

Parking spots are available near the station for you who want to drive instead.

Getting to Ven Island and back

To reach Ven Island, take the ferry from Landskrona Skeppsbron to Ven Bäckviken. It is a 30 minute trip.

Our plan is to catch the 10:00 am ferry. However, due to the large number of bookings, it may be that some have to take the next ferry at 10:55 am. Let us know which ferry you book in the comment section of the form below.

To have a smooth trip, buy tickets online beforehand and arrive at the terminal at least 20 minutes early for a hassle-free boarding process.

We plan to take the 4:45pm ferry for our return. Thus, the activities will conclude at approximately 3:45pm to allow for some time to clean up. However, feel free to adjust your departure time according to your preferences.

Getting around the Island

Ven has regular bus services operated by Skånetrafiken are available, and upon arrival at 10:30 am, we will take one of these buses directly to the summer activity site. If you prefer to explore the island on a bicycle, you can rent one by following this link.

What to bring along

We have planned activities for both children and adults including relay races and scavenger hunts. You can also explore the island or take a swim in the beach.

Food

Remember to bring your own food and snacks for a picnic with your family. Feel free to bring extra to share with others. Don’t forget to bring water and water containers to stay hydrated throughout the day

Clothing

Dress appropriately for the weather and beach activities, and bring mats, blankets or foldable seats to sit on. Please consider bringing sunscreens for sun protection, if needed.
